On Saturday, Nov. 29, former Frederick Senior High School standout Bryce Conover’s current collegiate team the Benedict Tigers lost 12-14 against the Albany State Golden Rams in the NCAA Division II Football Championship.
The game took place at ASU Coliseum at 1 p.m. and was the second matchup against the Albany State Golden Rams in the tournament.
Women’s basketball teams from Weld County received $1,555,338 during the 2024 season, down 0.2% from the previous year.
Women’s basketball teams from Logan County received $208,558 during the 2024 season, down 2.4% from the previous year.
Will Gordon will join Northern Colorado men’s basketball after helping lead his high school teams to multiple state championships. Coaches say he brings versatility as well as leadership skills both on and off court.
