Northern Colorado women’s track and field athlete Camaria Corder has been recognized as the January Student-Athlete of the Month, an award sponsored by Sexy Sammies. This recognition follows a series of strong performances by Corder during January.

Corder broke the school’s triple jump record twice in one month and also achieved the fourth-best triple jump result in Big Sky Indoor Track & Field history. She currently holds an 18th place national ranking and leads the conference in her event with a mark of 13.07 meters (42 feet, 10.74 inches).

The program highlighted Corder’s impact on the team, stating that her “continued ability to raise the bar and deliver elite performances at a high level has been a major boost for the Bears.”

As Northern Colorado prepares for upcoming championship competitions, Corder’s recent results are seen as positive momentum for both her and her teammates.
