Former Windsor High School basketball standout Mykaela Moore and her current team, the Colorado Mesa Mavericks, were defeated 75-70 by the IUP Crimson Hawks in the NCAA Division II Tournament on Thursday, March 26.
The matchup was held at 6 p.m. at the UPMC Cooper Fieldhouse.
Women’s basketball teams from Weld County received $1,555,338 during the 2024 season, down 0.2% from the previous year.
Women’s basketball teams from Logan County received $208,558 during the 2024 season, down 2.4% from the previous year.
Will Gordon will join Northern Colorado men’s basketball after helping lead his high school teams to multiple state championships. Coaches say he brings versatility as well as leadership skills both on and off court.
