Colorado residents paid $11,332 to attend the public four-year university during this period, an increase of $424 from the $10,908 charged in the 2021-22 academic year.
Non-resident students faced tuition costs that were 118.2% higher than those for residents in 2022-23, amounting to $24,722. This represents a 3.8% increase from $23,828 in the previous year.
Approximately 82% of the undergraduate student body are Colorado residents, while 17% come from other states and 1% are international students.
Financial aid was received by 96% of full-time undergraduates who began studies in 2022-23 at the University of Northern Colorado. A total of 1,114 students were awarded grants or scholarships totaling $9.8 million, and 587 students secured student loans exceeding $3.9 million.
Across all undergraduate students, 5,252 individuals received grants or scholarships amounting to $47.4 million. Additionally, 2,670 students borrowed $18.2 million in federal student loans.
