On Saturday, Nov. 22, former Erie High School standout Cash Rhodes’ current collegiate team the Chadron State Eagles lost 17-21 against the Pittsburg State Gorillas in the NCAA Division II Football Championship.
The game took place at Carnie Smith Stadium at 12 p.m. and was the first matchup against the Pittsburg State Gorillas in the tournament.
Northern Colorado ended its baseball regular season with a loss to Oral Roberts at Jackson Field. The Bears will now focus on preparing for next week’s Summit League Tournament.
