Four members of the Northern Colorado Bears women’s volleyball team have been named to the Big Sky All-Conference teams, according to an announcement from league officials on Sunday.

Isabel Bennett was selected for the Big Sky First Team All-Conference. Bennett has played a key role in the team’s offense this season, recording 246 kills and achieving a .301 hitting percentage. Her consistent performance has contributed significantly to the Bears’ success.

Three other players—Brynn Reines, Zoe Gibbs, and Alayna Tessena—were chosen for the Big Sky Second Team All-Conference. Reines posted 329 kills during the season and provided strong play throughout all rotations. Gibbs led the team with a .360 hitting percentage while tallying 251 kills, establishing herself as a strong presence at the net. Tessena led the team in kills with 370 and was noted for her ability to attack from different positions on the court.

The recognition comes after Northern Colorado finished their conference schedule with an 11–5 record in 2025.

“These honors underscore the Bears’ commitment to excellence, hard work, and the program’s Blue-Collar Standards—values that have shaped the programs identity.”

“Congratulations to Isabel Bennett, Brynn Reines, Zoe Gibbs, and Alayna Tessena on earning well-deserved conference recognition.”
