On Saturday, Nov. 22, former Frederick Senior High School standout Bryce Conover’s current collegiate team the Benedict Tigers won 25-24 against the Wingate Bulldogs in the NCAA Division II Football Championship.
The game took place at Irwin Belk Stadium at 2 p.m. and was the first matchup against the Wingate Bulldogs in the tournament.
The Benedict Tigers’ next game will take place on Saturday, Nov. 29 at 1 p.m. at ASU Coliseum.
Northern Colorado ended its baseball regular season with a loss to Oral Roberts at Jackson Field. The Bears will now focus on preparing for next week’s Summit League Tournament.
