On Wednesday, March 25, Matias Aldana, a former Frederick Senior High School basketball player, saw his collegiate team, the Black Hills State Yellow Jackets, defeated 76-66 by the Nova Southeastern Sharks in the NCAA Division II Tournament.
The matchup occurred at UPMC Cooper Fieldhouse at 6 p.m.
Northern Colorado ended its baseball regular season with a loss to Oral Roberts at Jackson Field. The Bears will now focus on preparing for next week’s Summit League Tournament.
