Northern Colorado men’s golfer Matias Koropeski was named Co-Men’s Golfer of the Week, according to an announcement from the league office on Apr. 15.
The recognition follows Koropeski’s recent showing at the Shark Invitational, where he finished fourth individually and played a key role in helping Northern Colorado secure the team title. His performance included a crucial par on the playoff hole and a final round score of 2-under 68. He started with a front nine score of 32 and closed with a back nine of 36, leading his team through critical moments.
Koropeski, who is a junior from Posadas, Argentina, has become an important member of the UNC men’s golf program this season. This honor marks his first weekly award for the current season and reflects his consistent contributions to recent tournaments.
