The Missouri Western Griffons, featuring former Mead High School standout Evan Peterson, dropped their NCAA Division II baseball matchup against the Truman State Bulldogs, 20-14, on Tuesday, March 10, at 3 p.m.

The contest, held at Griffon Baseball Field, marked the teams’ first meeting of the season.

In the game, Peterson pitched one inning, surrendering three earned runs and issuing one walk.

The Griffons are set to play their next game on Friday, March 13, at 3 p.m. at Griffon Baseball Field, where they will face the Fort Hays State Tigers.
