Former Windsor High School star Mykaela Moore and the Colorado Mesa Mavericks earned an 80-45 win over the Lubbock Christian Chaparrals in the NCAA Division II Basketball Tournament on Friday, March 13.
The matchup, held at Kitty Magee Arena at 11 a.m., marked the first meeting between the Mavericks and the Chaparrals in the tournament.
Colorado Mesa will play its next tournament game on Saturday, March 14 at 4 p.m. at Kitty Magee Arena.
Northern Colorado ended its baseball regular season with a loss to Oral Roberts at Jackson Field. The Bears will now focus on preparing for next week’s Summit League Tournament.
