Northern Colorado volleyball has announced the signing of Kylie Cackovic, an outside hitter from Raleigh, North Carolina. The announcement was made by Head Coach Lyndsey Oates and her staff.
Cackovic transfers from the University of North Carolina at Asheville, where she played a key role on the team and earned Big South All-Conference honors in both 2024 and 2025. She competed in the Big South Conference Tournament Championship during her last season with UNC Asheville.
Kylie Cackovic is the daughter of Melissa and Kevin Cackovic. Her mother played volleyball at San José State, while her father played basketball at Carnegie Mellon University. She has one brother, Jake Cackovic.
She chose to join Northern Colorado for its strong athletic program and academic environment that aligns with her future plans. Cackovic intends to pursue a master’s degree in Rehabilitation Psychology. Outside of volleyball, she enjoys spending time outdoors, traveling, and creative activities.
Head Coach Lyndsey Oates commented on the new addition: “Kylie is a great fit for our program on and off the court. She adds experience in a similar conference where she has had success. We are thrilled to have her in our gym this spring.”
