Northern Colorado baseball will travel to Fayetteville, Arkansas for a two-game midweek series against No. 4 Arkansas beginning Tuesday, March 17. The first game is scheduled for 5 p.m. MDT on Tuesday, with the second set for 2 p.m. MDT on Wednesday.

The matchup comes as Northern Colorado looks to build momentum after splitting its conference-opening doubleheader with St. Thomas at Jackson Field. In the first game, the Bears fell 8–5 despite collecting 12 hits and home runs from Zeke Minic and Logan Pruski. They rebounded in the second game with a 9–4 win, powered by Minic’s two-run home run, Mason Griffin’s solo shot, and Brett Barber driving in three runs. Jake Storey struck out eight over nearly seven innings before Lucas Stone earned the win in relief and Brady Hudson closed out the victory.

Offensively, Northern Colorado has been led by Minic, who is batting .423 with four doubles and two home runs this season. Pruski follows with a .359 average and leads the team in hits (28) and RBIs (14). Jaden Stone has contributed significantly as well, tallying 26 hits and scoring 16 runs while maintaining a .415 on-base percentage. As a team through 21 games, the Bears are hitting .281 with eight home runs and 94 RBIs.

Arkansas enters the series boasting one of the top offenses nationally, hitting .285 as a team with 24 home runs across their first 20 games. Camden Kozeal (.320 average) leads their lineup alongside Ryder Helfrick (.324), while their pitching staff holds a collective ERA of just over three. Colin Fisher (1.95 ERA) and Gabe Gaeckle (2.73 ERA) headline their rotation.

After facing Arkansas, Northern Colorado will continue its road trip to Omaha for a three-game conference series against the Mavericks starting Friday, March 20.
