Northern Colorado concluded competition at the Mines Midweek Meet & Multi on April 9, with two athletes finishing inside the top 15 in the decathlon at Stermole Track & Field Complex in Golden, Colorado.

The event is notable for showcasing the efforts of Northern Colorado’s track and field athletes as they competed against a strong field. The meet provided an opportunity for team members to test their skills and prepare for upcoming competitions.

Ryan Pollyea led Northern Colorado by placing 13th overall with a total of 3,925 points over two days. Jameson Rembert closely followed, securing the 14th spot with a score of 3,904 points. These results marked a solid showing for the Bears in multi-event competition. Earlier in the week, Northern Colorado also achieved multiple event wins and set record-breaking marks during other portions of the meet.

The Bears are scheduled to return to action on Saturday, April 11, participating in the Kit Mayer Classic as they continue their season at Colorado School of Mines.
