Northern Colorado heads to UCCS for last pre-holiday indoor track & field meet

Northern Colorado’s track and field team will compete in its final event before the holiday break at the 2025 Colorado Running Company Pre-Holiday Invite & Multi, hosted by UCCS in Colorado Springs. The meet will take place over two days, Friday and Saturday, at the Mountain Lions’ indoor facility. Fans can watch a live stream of the competition on the RMAC Network.

The Bears are sending a travel roster that includes sprinters, jumpers, mid-distance runners, throwers, and multi-event athletes. This event gives them an opportunity to build momentum early in the season ahead of their return to action in January.

The men’s team features Moise Bennett (60mH, Heptathlon), Noah Mayoral De Anza (1 mile), Griffin Eastman (60m, 200m), Nick Ellis (200m, 400m), Trevor Ewert (200m, 400m), Johnny Fisher (60m, 400m), Jared Jenson (60m, 200m), Kyran Jones (60m, 200m), Nash Jones (800m), Hunter Kenney (1 mile), Digby Marshall (60m, LJ), Brody Niswender (60m, 200m, 400m), Ryan Pollyea (Heptathlon), Jameson Rembert (Heptathlon), Aaron Roll (1 mile), Maxwell Struefert (60m, 200m), Jaydon Sundbye (60m, 60mH), Gavin Vinton (60m, 200m), Rayvon Walkin (60m, 60mH), Daniel Watson (1 mile), Kaden Waugh (60m, shot put) and Korbin Waugh (400m).

The women’s entries include Kynley Albright (1 mile), Savanna Amack (LJ, TJ), Emily Beckner (800m), Sophie Blankman (Shot put), Kayla Christiansen (60m, 200m), Marely Del Campo (60m, 200m), Braelyn Gifford (800m), Sall Gould (60m, LJ), Alison Hoodak (60m, 200m), Lea Irvin (200m, 400m), Tamia John (60m, LJ,TJ ), Ania Magdesian(1 mile ), April Necaise(HJ,LJ ), Claire Nowels(800 m ), Ciara Piffarerio(Pentathlon,HJ ), Annison Pound(60 m ,6OmH ), Kara Sidwell(6Om ,6OmH ), Sabina Stroia(1 mile ), Sherika Thomas(1mile ,6OmH ), Lucy Varela(1mile ) and Vanessa Ward(2OO m ,4OO m ).

Competition begins Friday morning with multis and field events. Events continue throughout Saturday.

Northern Colorado athletes reached multiple finals at day three of the Big Sky Outdoor Track & Field Championships on May 15, including two podium finishes by Tyler Rogers and Kiana Van Haaren. Several Bears advanced through preliminary rounds as they prepare for championship finals.
