Northern Colorado men’s golf to compete in final regular season tournament

Northern Colorado men’s golf will travel to Glen Head, New York, for its last regular season tournament at the Shark Invitational hosted by LIU on April 13 and 14.

The event marks the fifth and final competition of the spring for Northern Colorado. The two-day tournament will take place at Brookville Country Club and includes teams such as Adelphi, Bryant, Fairfield, Fairleigh Dickinson, Hartford, Long Island, Manhattan, Monmouth, New Haven, Sacred Heart, Siena, Wagner and Weber State.

The Bears recently finished 19th as a team at the Wyoming Cowboy Classic. Cooper Tate led Northern Colorado with a tie for 33rd place at one under par over three rounds. Kaelen Dulany finished tied for 53rd at two over par. Matias Koropeski was tied for 77th at six over par. Rowan MacDonald (tied for 110th) and Thomas Barnes Grimes (tied for 118th) completed the lineup in that event.

For the Shark Invitational lineup in New York, Northern Colorado will field Kaelen Dulany, Cooper Tate, Thomas Barnes Grimes, Matias Koropeski and Tommie Clark.

Supporters of UNC men’s golf are encouraged to participate in the Up & Down Club initiative that provides resources aimed at enhancing student-athlete experiences through improved travel opportunities and nutrition support.
