Northern Colorado men’s golf team will begin its 2026 spring season at the Compadres Collegiate, which starts on Sunday, February 1. The event is hosted by UTRGV and will take place over three days at Iberostar Playa Paraiso Golf.

The Playa Paraiso Golf Course is a par 72 and measures 6,701 yards. This tournament marks the team’s first competition since the offseason and fall campaign. The three-day event features a challenging course layout and will require players to focus on course management and lineup depth.

The team aims to build early momentum in this opening tournament as it prepares for the rest of the spring schedule and looks ahead to postseason play. The Compadres Collegiate is considered an important benchmark for assessing the team’s readiness for upcoming events.

Participating teams include Bellarmine, Drake, Louisiana Monroe, Morehead State, North Texas, Northern Colorado, UTRGV, UTSA, and Western Carolina.

Northern Colorado’s lineup consists of Kaelen Dulany, Cooper Tate, Tommie Clark, Lucas Raoul, and Rowan MacDonald. Takato Imoto will compete as an individual.
