Registration has opened for the 2026 Kristen Mattio Basketball Camps in Greeley, Colorado. The camps offer athletes a chance to work on basketball skills with guidance from Head Coach Kristen Mattio, the Northern Colorado Women’s Basketball staff, and student-athletes.
The camps are designed to focus on player development and game fundamentals. “Under the direction of Head Coach Kristen Mattio, along with the Northern Colorado Women’s Basketball staff and student-athletes, the camps emphasize player development and game fundamentals,” according to organizers.
Participation is available to all interested athletes within specified age, gender, grade level, and capacity limits.
The Individual Skills Camp will take place June 1-3 for students entering kindergarten through 12th grade. It runs from 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m., is co-ed, costs $170 per participant, and includes a t-shirt and basketball.
The Shooting & Scoring Academy is scheduled for June 15-16 for grades K-12. This camp runs from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., costs $215 (with two lunches included), or $275 for those selecting an overnight option (which adds one breakfast and one dinner). A t-shirt and basketball are provided.
Athletes can attend both the Individual Skills Camp and Shooting & Scoring Academy for $325 or $385 with overnight accommodations.
A High School Team Camp will be held June 11-13 for teams of players entering grades nine through twelve. The camp ends at 1:00 p.m. on June 13. Commuter team cost is $825 ($655 for additional teams), while overnight residents pay $265 each. Each participant receives a t-shirt; there is a limit of 150 teams.
An Elite Camp is planned for August 3 at Bank of Colorado Arena for girls in grades nine through twelve. The camp runs from 9:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., includes lunch, costs $110 per athlete, and provides a reversible jersey.
