Northern Colorado’s track and field teams are set to compete at the 2026 Big Sky Indoor Track & Field Championships in Pocatello, Idaho, from Thursday through Saturday at the ICCU Dome. The event begins with the women’s pentathlon on Thursday morning and concludes with final relays and an awards ceremony on Saturday afternoon.
The schedule includes combined events and preliminary rounds on Friday, followed by finals on Saturday. Key men’s athletes for Northern Colorado include Daniel Beckford, who will participate in the 60 meters, 60-meter hurdles, and as part of the 4×400-meter relay. Moise Benett and Ryan Pollyea are entered in the heptathlon, with Benett also running in the 60-meter hurdles.
Sprinters Christopher Cheatham and Raphael Egbuchilem will compete in both the 200 and 400 meters as well as relay events. Nick Ellis is set for the 400 meters and a relay leg. Other sprint contributors include Johnny Fisher (60m), Edgar Garcia (60m, 200m), and Mark Miller (60m, 200m). In field events, Kaliff Guevara will take part in the triple jump while Tyler Rogers is scheduled for both high jump and long jump. Jaydon Sundbye is listed for the 60-meter hurdles.
On the women’s side, Alexia Austin, Donice Bruno-Ezealah, and Sherika Thomas will represent Northern Colorado in the 60-meter hurdles. Bruno-Ezealah will also run a leg of the 4×400 relay.
Caydence Brewer leads a group competing across sprints and middle-distance races. She is entered in the 60 meters, 200 meters, opening leg of the 4×400 relay, and second leg of the distance medley relay. Monique Stewart is slated for the 800 meters along with roles in both relays. Alison Hoodak anchors one of these relays.
Distance runner Claire Nowels is entered in both the 3000 meters and distance medley relay; Lucy Varela will race in the mile as well as run a relay leg. Camaria Corder is set for long jump and triple jump; April Necaise enters high jump; Kiana Van Haaren competes in sprints and long jump.
Preliminary heats are scheduled for Friday with championship finals throughout Saturday including multiple track distances and relays.
