Northern Colorado’s indoor track and field teams concluded their opening weekend of the 2025-26 season in Reno with notable performances, including two new entries into the program’s all-time top-10 lists and several podium finishes.
In the women’s triple jump, Camaria Corder achieved a distance of 12.18 meters (39′ 11.5″), earning second place overall and moving to No. 2 on Northern Colorado’s all-time list for the event. On the men’s side, Kaliff Guevara finished fourth in the triple jump with a mark of 14.02 meters (46′ 0″).
On the track, Daniel Beckford stood out in the men’s 60-meter hurdles by qualifying third in preliminaries with a time of 7.99 seconds before finishing as runner-up in the final at 7.93 seconds. This performance also placed him at No. 2 on UNC’s all-time list for that event.
Other performances included Donice Ezealah finishing 13th in the women’s 60 hurdles prelims with a time of 8.97 seconds, Kiana Van Haaren placing 32nd (7.90) and Edgar Garcia ninth (6.91) in their respective women’s and men’s 60 dash prelims, and Mark Miller securing sixth place in the men’s 400 meters at 49.43 seconds.
The Bears ended their weekend with three top-10 finishes across jumps, sprints, and hurdles events along with two new program records.
The team will compete next at the Colorado Running Company Pre-Holiday Invite & Multi hosted by UCCS in Colorado Springs from December 12 to December 13.

“Daniel Beckford stormed to a runner-up finish in the final, clocking 7.93; a time that cements him as No.2 in UNC’s Top-10 All-Time,” stated team officials.
