Northern Colorado Volleyball will host Northern Arizona in their final regular-season conference match. The Bears, with a record of 14–14 overall and 11–4 in the Big Sky Conference, are coming off a strong week that included a three-set win over Idaho State and a four-set victory against Weber State.
In the match against Weber State, three players from Northern Colorado reached double digits in kills. Isabel Bennett and Bella Van Lannen each recorded 13 kills, contributing to the team’s offensive performance. Setter Nerea Alvarez Jorge provided 43 assists and added 12 digs, achieving another double-double. Libero Bella LePore led the defense with 12 digs.
The upcoming match against Northern Arizona is important for Northern Colorado as they seek to secure a share of the Big Sky Regular Season Championship. The Bears also aim to reverse the result from their previous meeting this season, when Northern Arizona swept them in straight sets.
Northern Arizona enters the game with a record of 22–6 overall and 13–3 in conference play. The Lumberjacks are on a three-match winning streak, including a four-set win over Idaho State that featured a lengthy second set ending at 44–42.
