Northern Colorado women’s golf team is in fourth place after two rounds at the Bentwater Women’s Collegiate, according to a March 23 update from the program.
The team’s strong performance positions them for a potential move up the leaderboard as they enter the final round of play. Three Northern Colorado players are currently ranked inside the top 25 individually, contributing to their overall standing.
Timbre Shehee leads Northern Colorado with scores of 77 and 76 over the first two rounds, putting her in a tie for twelfth place at nine over par. Samantha Colombine follows closely behind, tied for fourteenth at ten over par after posting rounds of 75 and 79. Olivia Salonek also secured a spot among the top competitors, tying for eighteenth with a twelve-over-par total following her second-round score of 76.
Other contributors include Jaci Hartman, who sits tied for thirty-sixth with scores of 77 and 82, while Carolina Fallotico and individual competitor Shae Maiorana are both tied for sixty-third at twenty-four over par. The team leaderboard shows Louisville leading at twenty-six over par, followed by Kennesaw State and Tennessee Tech before Northern Colorado’s current position in fourth.
With several players close to the leaders individually and consistent results across its lineup, Northern Colorado will look to build on this momentum during the final round.
