Northern Colorado women’s golf team has released its schedule for the 2026 spring season, according to Associate Head Coach Tina Barrett.
The announcement follows a strong fall campaign for the Bears. Highlights included Timbre Shehee finishing second at the Clerico Invitational and earning Golfer of the Week honors. Samantha Colombine set a program record with a round of 64 at the Golf Iconic Classic. The team achieved three top-10 finishes during their fall competitions.
“We are extremely excited about our spring schedule,” Barrett said. “We’ll compete in strong fields across the country, highlighted by our trip to Hawaii. These experiences will be great preparation for the Big Sky Championship in Arizona in April. We’ll also look to build on the momentum from a very successful fall season.”
The Bears will start their spring play at the San Diego State Classic Invitational from February 9–10 at Heights Golf Course in San Diego, hosted by San Diego State.
Next, they will participate in the ACU West Texas Classic at Abilene Country Club North from March 2–3, hosted by Abilene Christian.
Their schedule continues with an appearance at the Dr. Donnis Thompson Invitational on March 17–18 at Kaneohe Klipper Golf Course in Kailua, Hawaii.
From March 23–24, Northern Colorado heads to Acworth, Georgia, for the Bentwater Women’s Collegiate hosted by Kennesaw State.
The team will then travel to Bryan, Texas, to compete in the “Mo” Morial Invitational at Traditions Golf Club from April 6–8, an event hosted by Texas A&M.
The regular season concludes with participation in the Big Sky Conference Championship from April 20–22 at Wigwam Blue Golf Course in Goodyear, Arizona.
Northern Colorado aims to continue its positive trajectory into spring as it competes for a conference title.
