Northern Colorado women’s golf will travel to ‘Aiea, O’ahu, Hawai’i to participate in the Dr. Donnis Thompson Invitational, which begins on March 17. The event is hosted by Hawai’i at Pearl at Kalauao and features teams from across the country.
The tournament provides Northern Colorado with an opportunity to continue its strong spring season and gain experience against a diverse field of competitors. The Bears have consistently placed inside the top 10 in every tournament during the 2025–26 campaign, demonstrating steady performance throughout the season.
In their most recent outing at the West Texas Classic, Jaci Hartman and Timbree Shehee each finished in the top 10 individually, helping lead Northern Colorado to a third-place team finish. This result highlights the team’s depth and consistent play as they prepare for another challenging field.
The lineup for Northern Colorado includes Timbre Shehee, Jaci Hartman, Samantha Colombine, Olivia Salonek, and Carolina Fallotico. Shae Maiorana will compete as an individual participant. Other programs competing in the invitational include Arizona State, Cal Baptist, Hawaii Pacific, Louisiana Monroe, Montana State, New Mexico, New Mexico State, North Carolina, Sacramento State, Texas State, and USC.
Support for the program comes from initiatives like the Birdie Club, which provides resources that enhance training and travel for student-athletes. These investments are aimed at ensuring that players are prepared to compete at a high level.
