Occidental Tigers fall to Puget Sound Loggers, 13-11, in March 6 matchup

Occidental Tigers, featuring former Northridge High School standout Lincoln Lyons, were edged out 13-11 in their NCAA Division III baseball game against the Puget Sound Loggers on Friday, March 6, at 2:30 p.m.

The matchup took place at Anderson Field and marked the first meeting between the Tigers and the Loggers this season.

Lyons pitched 5.2 innings, giving up three earned runs with five walks and one strikeout.

Occidental is set to face the Loggers again at Anderson Field on Saturday, March 7, with the game scheduled for 11 a.m.
