On Saturday, Nov. 22, former Holyoke Senior High School standout Reid Sprague’s current collegiate team the Chadron State Eagles lost 17-21 against the Pittsburg State Gorillas in the NCAA Division II Football Championship.
The game took place at Carnie Smith Stadium at 12 p.m. and was the first matchup against the Pittsburg State Gorillas in the tournament.
Women’s basketball teams from Weld County received $1,555,338 during the 2024 season, down 0.2% from the previous year.
Women’s basketball teams from Logan County received $208,558 during the 2024 season, down 2.4% from the previous year.
Will Gordon will join Northern Colorado men’s basketball after helping lead his high school teams to multiple state championships. Coaches say he brings versatility as well as leadership skills both on and off court.
