Northern Colorado women’s golf team completed the first two rounds of the ACU West Classic in Abilene, Texas, securing fourth place out of 17 teams as they prepare for the final round.
Timbre Shehee and Jaci Hartman led the Bears with strong performances, both tied for first place individually after 36 holes. Their consistent play has put Northern Colorado in a competitive position for both individual and team titles.
Samantha Colombine contributed to the team’s effort by finishing tied for 38th, while Olivia Salonek is tied for 47th. Kendall Hayward is currently tied for 73rd, rounding out the team’s scoring players. Competing individually, Shae Maiorana is tied for 56th on the leaderboard.
The team standings show Bowling Green in first place, followed by South Dakota State and Abilene Christian. Northern Colorado sits in fourth place ahead of UTEP and UT Arlington.
