Shehee leads Northern Colorado Bears to sixth place at Bentwater Collegiate

Northern Colorado women’s golf finished sixth out of twelve teams at the Bentwater Women’s Collegiate, led by Timbre Shehee’s runner-up performance, according to a Mar. 24 announcement.

The result marks Shehee’s second runner-up finish of the 2025-26 season and stands as the team’s top individual performance so far this spring. The event showcased consistent play from the Bears across two days of competition in Acworth, Georgia.

Shehee posted a final-round score of 69, three under par, which was the lowest round for Northern Colorado during the tournament. Her round included a front nine score of 33 and a back nine of 36, helping her climb into a tie for second place on the player leaderboard.

Samantha Colombine finished tied for nineteenth after carding a final-round score of 79. This marks her seventh top-25 finish this season. Olivia Salonek tied for twenty-fourth overall with a total score of +19 after shooting a final-round 79. Jaci Hartman and Carolina Fallotico rounded out team scoring with finishes at fifty-first and sixty-first respectively.

Shae Maiorana competed as an individual and finished tied for fifty-sixth with an overall score of +32 following her final-round score of eighty.

The Birdie Club continues to provide resources that support training and travel for UNC women’s golf student-athletes, aiming to enhance their experience and preparation for competition. The program encourages fans to follow team updates online or on social media.
