91 percent of applicants to the University of Northern Colorado were admitted for fall 2018

At the University of Northern Colorado, 89 percent of undergraduate students are traditional students - age 24 or younger - and 65 percent are female, according to the latest disclosure from the U.S. Department of Education.

The four-year public institution in Greeley enrolled 13,437 students in fall 2018, including 10,232 in undergraduate and 3,205 in graduate programs, data shows. 7.1 percent of undergraduates transferred from another college or university.

83 percent of undergraduates are residents of Colorado, and 16 percent are residents of other states. 1 percent are citizens of foreign countries.

The undergraduate student body is comprised mostly of students who identify as white (58 percent) and Hispanic or Latino (20 percent).

The school admitted 91 percent of the 8,294 students who applied for fall 2018. Of those who were admitted, 26 percent enrolled.
