Cost of college was unchanged for all students at Aims Community College

In-state tuition and fees were unchanged for 2018-19 at Aims Community College, according to recent data from the U.S. Department of Education.

Colorado residents paid $2,756 to attend the two-year public institution in both the 2017-18 and 2018-19 academic years.

Non-residents paid 278.2 percent more than residents this year, or $10,424. Their price tag was unchanged from $10,424 in 2017-18.

About 99 percent of the school's undergraduate population are Colorado residents. And about 1 percent are residents of other states.

Data shows 84 percent of full-time undergraduates who started school in 2015-16 received student financial aid in some form. In all, 297 students received grants or scholarships totaling $2.1 million and 54 students took out student loans totaling more than $272,919.

Including all undergraduates (6,250), 2,475 students used grants or scholarships totaling $13.9 million, and 516 students took out $2.3 million in federal student loans.
