Northeastern Junior College issued the following announcement on Nov. 2.
Meet Spring 2020 NJC graduate Benjamin Goff. Ben earned an AAS Fire Science Technologies from NJC Emergency Services Training and is now working with Deer Mountain Fire Protection District.
He was deployed to the August Complex Fire in Northern California, the Grizzly Creek fire in Glenwood Springs and most recently the Cameron Peak Fire. While on these fires, Ben was assigned to a type 3 engine and worked on back burning and holding operations, as well as assisted with hot shot crews. We're so proud of Ben and thankful for his service!
