Of the 233 people living in Merino town in 2019, 42.9 percent (100) were women and 57.1 percent (133) were men, according to U.S. Census Bureau data obtained by the NE Colorado News.

Males 18 and over outnumbered females in the same age group by a ratio of 88-to-56. In the 65 and over age range, there were 11 females and 14 males.
