Custer County ranked 13th in Colorado for resident earnings in 2018

Custer County ranked 13th among counties in Colorado by annual earnings per resident, according to data obtained from the U.S. Census Bureau.

The median income of Custer County residents was $25,128 per year, adjusted for inflation. It had 2,083 households with a population of 4,640.

The county with the highest median resident income in the state was Gilpin County with $44,881 per year after adjusting for inflation – $19,753 more than Custer County. It had 2,653 households with a population of 5,924.

The county with the lowest median resident income in the state was Crowley County with $14,826 per year after adjusting for inflation – $10,302 less than Custer County. It had 1,194 households with a population of 5,630.
