Custer County ranked 13th in Colorado for resident earnings in 2019

Custer County ranked 13th among counties in Colorado by annual earnings per resident, according to data obtained from the U.S. Census Bureau.

The median income of Custer County residents was $26,669 per year, adjusted for inflation. It had 2,214 households with a population of 4,776.

The county with the highest median resident income in the state was Gilpin County with $44,683 per year after adjusting for inflation – $18,014 more than Custer County. It had 2,802 households with a population of 6,018.

The county with the lowest median resident income in the state was Crowley County with $18,032 per year after adjusting for inflation – $8,637 less than Custer County. It had 1,301 households with a population of 5,754.
