Tigers Fight, Fall in Four Sets to #4 Trinity

The Colorado College Tigers fell to #4 Trinity University in four sets in San Antonio on Sunday morning.

 

After winning the first set 25-21 the Tigers were unable to continue the momentum and lost the final three sets 25-22, 25-29, 25-15.

 

Middle Hitter Isabella Lipacis had an impressive performance in the match with a career high 21 kills on 47 attempts and a .234 hitting percentage. Sophomore Delaney Rach also had recorded career-high numbers with 10 kills on 26 attempts.

 

Setter Jenny Jenks remains an invaluable member of the Tigers squad with 47 assists. Kaylie Stuteville made three solo blocks in the loss to Trinity.

 

Trinity was led by Sarah Williammee who recorded 11 blocks on 22 attempts.

 

CC returns to action on October 29th when they take on Southwestern in Seguin, Texas.
