City of Greeley to Present Results of Cranford Historic Preservation Study

Results from a study of a historic Greeley neighborhood will be shared at 6 p.m., Thursday, May 18, at City Center South, 1001 11th Avenue. The meeting is open to area residents and interested citizens.

The presentation will summarize a survey of 72 properties in the Cranford area north of 16th Street. The presentation will include information about:

  • Properties with historical significance
  • Properties eligible for historic designation
  • Historic designation and the benefits of designation
About the Project

The city worked with Metcalf Archaeological Consultants. The planning and cultural resource consulting firm led the historic resource survey. History Colorado, the State of Colorado’s historical society, provided grant funding.

Historic resource surveys document the history and architecture of historic properties and districts.
