About the Bands

Kream of the Krop is a 17-piece Big Band that plays a range of music, including nostalgic music of the Big Band Era and many more current popular tunes. They play for all types of audiences and events at multiple venues throughout Northern Colorado. You can hear them play many Big Band jazz tunes from artists like Glenn Miller, Count Basie, Sammy Nestico, Harry Connick, Jr., Quincy Jones, and other modern composers and arrangers.

The New Horizons Band of Northern Colorado (NHB) began in 1997 with 30 people. They have grown to over 60 members who are baby boomers, retirees, grandparents, veterans, novice, and skilled musicians alike who enjoy making music! Their goal reflects Roy’s vision by “…creating an entry point to group music-making for adult beginners and a comfortable re-entry point for adults who played music at school and would like to resume after long years of building careers…” and they stand by that view on June 22. The NHB draws its members from Fort Collins, Loveland, Longmont, Wellington, Windsor, Greeley, Berthoud, Mead, and other Northern Colorado locations.

The WiseAcres is a mid-size combo featuring jazz standards, Latin music, Dixieland, jazz-rock, etc. Their music library is ever-expanding, so they have many choices for your event. They’re located in the Greeley area and perform primarily in the Greeley-Fort Collins-Windsor-Loveland area.
