Help donate school supplies and backpacks, supporting students served by Denver Human Services
DENVER – Denver Human Services (DHS) is asking for donations of school supplies through August 5 as part of the 13th annual school supply drive. The collected items will be distributed to students in need who are experiencing challenges such as food insecurities and homelessness.
“Through this drive, we are able to equip students with the tools they need to thrive in this new school year,” said DHS Deputy Executive Director Josie Berry. “We appreciate the donors who help make this school year a little brighter for those who need extra support.”
The annual school supply drive has served thousands of students since its launch in 2011. Last year the drive helped 1,704 students in need.
