Take a break from the heat for a cold sweet treat at Centennial Village Museum’s Pets ‘n’ Popsicles from 10 a.m.-4 p.m. August 11-12.

While buildings won’t be open, you’ll be able to walk the grounds and see heritage farm animals like sheep, goats, rabbits and chickens. On Saturday, take a horse-drawn wagon ride, weather permitting. Tickets are $4/person ages 3 and over, and children 2 and under are free. Every ticket comes with a popsicle.

The museum is located at 1475 A Street on the south side of Island Grove Regional Park. For more information, call 970-350-9220 or visit greeleymuseums.com. Regular season hours are 10 a.m.-4 p.m. Fridays and Saturdays from late May through early September.
