4.9% of Weld County residents considered unemployed in 2021

Weld County recorded an unemployment rate of 4.9% among residents aged 16 and 65 years old in 2021. That’s 8,452 people out of the 322,424 living in Weld County at the time, according to data obtained from the U.S. Census Bureau.

The unemployment rate in Weld County has decreased compared to the 5% registered in 2020.

The percentage of people unemployed in Weld County was greater than the statewide unemployment rate of 4.6%.

Of the 163,043 people who had a job during that time, 150 were employed in the Armed Forces and 162,893 belonged to the civilian labor force.
