Northern Colorado men’s basketball had three student-athletes named to the 2026 College Sports Communicators (CSC) Academic All-District Team, according to a Mar. 24 announcement from the program.
The recognition highlights both academic and athletic achievements of student-athletes. The final list for Academic All-America will be announced at a later date.
Denker leads the group with a 3.80 undergraduate GPA and a perfect 4.00 graduate GPA in Sport Coaching. He is also noted as an NABC All-District selection, five-time Big Sky Player of the Week, and Lou Henson Player of the Year Award finalist. Denker averaged 19.2 points and seven assists per game during the season, breaking both single-game and single-season assist records at Northern Colorado while surpassing 1,600 career points.
Senior forward Brock Wisne received Academic All-District honors with a 3.65 GPA in Business Administration after starting all 31 games in the recent season and contributing significantly to Northern Colorado’s overall record of 20-12.
