Town of Akron recently issued the following announcement.
The Town of Akron has scheduled of the following streets for Mon. August 17 through Tue. August 18 weather permitting at 8:00am.
On 3rd St: Custer Ave to Itea Ave.
On Hickory Ave: 4th St to RR Ave.
On Gum Ave: 4th St to 2nd St
On Fir Ave: 3rd St to 2nd St
On Main Ave: 3rd St to RR Ave.
Please have all vehicles removed from the street by 7:00am.
If they are not moved off street they may be towed at your expense.
Vehicles can return immediately after chipsealing is complete.
